Samsung has made a unique PR gesture by gifting 200 units of its flagship Galaxy Note 8 to passengers aboard a Spanish flight, a move aimed at washing the wounds inflicted by exploding Galaxy Note 7 units that caused it to be banned from airlines across the globe.
Samsung's giveaway radiates the message that their device is 100% safe and can be carried by passengers on planes without any fear of explosion whatsoever. And in case the message was not clear enough, Samsung's Spanish subsidiary heroically tweeted,"At Samsung, when we fall, we not only rise back up - we learn to fly."
Let's hope the Galaxy Note 8 remains 'Airline Safe' in the foreseeable future.
