In a tweet, Xiaomi's India head and VP, Manu Kumar Jain has announced that Xiaomi's best selling smartphone in the country, the Redmi Note 4 has now undergone a permanent price cut of ₹1,000.
This means that the top variant of the Redmi Note 4 (4GB/64GB) is now available at a price of ₹11,999 instead of the ₹12,999 launch price.
