Play Store Now Shows App Sizes Instead Of Ratings
Google is running yet another server-side test on the Play Store, this time replacing the star rating with app size in the Play Store search results. On searching for an app, or viewing a category on the Play Store, apps now have their size listed under the name, unlike earlier when users were able to see the rating for apps.
While this change may prove useful for users who are more concerned about the size of apps, due to expensive data, or limited storage space on their phones, it's probably far more useful to be able to see an app's ratings first.
The change is apparently not visible in all countries, but is definitely turned on in India. Google could be testing it specifically for countries with limited data.
