Pixel 2 "Active Edge" Reference Found in Latest Google App APK

The Pixel 2's rumoured squeezable edge has been referenced in the latest Google App APK. The feature will apparently be called "Active Edge" and will work similar to HTC's "Edge Sense". According to the APK, the the "Active Edge" feature can be used to launch the Google Assistant, or to access the settings for the Google App.

While there is no word on whether Google will allow users to customise the "Active Edge" functionality on the new Pixel smartphones, it'd really be great if Big G does, in fact, allow it.

The Pixel 2 will be launched on October 4, and Google has already sent out media invites for the same.
