Huawei Takes A Dig At The iPhone X; Promises " Real AI Phone" Next Month

Apple's iPhone X Face ID has been in the news for a variety of reasons. However, it seems that Huawei is no mood to leave Apple be. The Chinese company has just taken a dig at the iPhone X's Face ID - In a video, Huawei shows an emoji being identified by Face ID to unlock the phone. After a while of trying, the unlock procedure simply fails. Along with the video, Huawei has claimed that it will unveil "The Real AI Phone" next month.

Huawei is all set to launch the Mate 10 in October, and the flagship Kirin 970 inside, has a dedicated AI chip. While it's hard to believe that any mobile SoC can compete with Apple's, the Kirin 970 sure looks promising.
